Can now offer Texas commercial customers a flexible suite of renewable energy options

Power retailer TXU Energy has received Green-e Energy certification from the Center for Resource Solutions for its commercial renewable product Texas Wind. Texas Wind reportedly comes from 100% wind generation within the state of Texas.

TXU Energy can now offer Texas commercial customers a flexible suite of renewable energy options. By purchasing Green-e Energy certified renewable energy, customers will support currently available renewable resources as well as aid in the development of new renewable resources in the state of Texas.

Green-e Energy is a renewable energy certification and verification program in the US. The program provides independent, third-party certification to ensure certified renewable energy meets strict environmental and consumer protection standards.

Jim Burke, CEO of TXU Energy, said: By earning Green-e Energy certification, TXU Energy is demonstrating its commitment to offering customers renewable power choices that meet the highest standards in the renewable energy industry.

TXU Energy is dedicated to providing greater energy efficiency solutions to our customers that help conserve energy, save on energy costs, and preserve our environment all at the same time.
