enXco Service Signs O&M Agreement For Chevron's Casper Wind Power Project

Published: 21-Sep-2009

enXco Service Corporation (enXco Service), an EDF Energies Nouvelles SA unit, has signed an operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement with Chevron Global Power Company (Chevron), a division of Chevron USA, Inc. for the 16.5 MW Casper Wind Power Project located in Natrona county, Wyoming. enXco Service will provide commissioning assistance during construction, on-site O&M for the turbines and the balance of plant during the first five years of operations.

In addition to operation and maintenance services provided at the site, 24/7 remote monitoring of the wind turbines will be provided from enXco Service's Operations Control Center located near Chandler, Minnesota.

Construction of the project, consisting of 11 General Electric Company 1.5 MW SLE turbines commenced in June 2009, with an anticipated completion date in the fourth quarter 2009.

“We are very pleased enXco Service Corporation was selected for this project,” Keith Smith, business development manager, said. “We look forward to working with Chevron and providing them with exceptional O&M service.”
