enXco signs O&M agreement for 40.5MW wind farm in Nebraska
enXco Service Corporation, an EDF Energies Nouvelles company, has entered into a long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement with TPW Petersburg Wind for a 40.5MW wind farm in the US state of Nebraska.
Located in Boone County, the TPW Petersburg wind farm is equipped with 27 units of GE Wind 1.5MW XLE - ESS turbine.
The facility commenced commercial operation in November 2011 and it was acquired by Gestamp Wind North America in December 2011.
Electricity generated by the wind farm will be delivered to Omaha Public Power District.
enXco will provide on-site O&M services for the balance of plant during the turbine warranty period, and subsequently for the entire project.
In addition, the company will be responsible for 24/7 remote monitoring of the wind turbines.
