Kite Power Systems (KPS), a UK-based company developing a disruptive technology for the wind energy sector has secured a £2m equity investment from the Scottish Investment Bank (SIB).

ABB doubles voltage level of special wind turbine transformer ABB announced its latest innovation in transformer technology, with the introduction of a 66 kilovolts (kV) WindSTAR transformer that can fit into the tower of a wind turbine.
